Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is central to what Rotary represents. It plays a crucial role in creating an inclusive environment where every individual is seen, heard, valued, and empowered.
This year Rotary South Pacific is launching the inaugural DEI awards. These will celebrate and showcase excellence in DEI impacts at all levels of Rotary and Rotaract across our region.
DEI impacts in Rotary can be wide-ranging. They may relate to a local community service activity, the outcomes from a district or global grant, a successful partnership, or an innovation in club membership.
So, if you know an outstanding Rotary DEI Champion, or an exceptional Rotary DEI project, you can nominate them for one of the three awards below:
- Excellence in promoting DEI through a District Grant or Service Project (Team Award)
- Excellence in DEI Leadership and Advocacy (Individual/Team Award)
- RSP DEI Champion Award (Individual Awards)
For individuals awards we encourage you to nominate an outstanding Rotary or Rotaract member, Club President, Rotary Community Leader, or District Representative.
For team awards we encourage you to nominate an exceptional Rotary or Rotaract project or activity at either a club, district or zone level that you think has made a tangible DEI impact in the South Pacific region.
