Applications are now open for the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Director role at Rotary South Pacific.

About Rotary South Pacific

Rotary South Pacific is currently implementing a governance pilot program. In brief, this means Rotary has created a Board of Directors who provide strategic guidance to Rotarians and Rotaractors across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

Being a part of the Rotary South Pacific Board means you will collaborate with Leaders, Districts, Clubs and other partners to collectively:
  • Grow membership: Cultivating vibrant clubs, introducing innovative models and launching new clubs to thrive.
  • Create lasting impact: Making a profound difference in communities locally, regionally and globally.
  • Enhance Rotary’s Brand and Legacy: Establishing Rotary in Zone 8 as a globally recognised and trusted service organisation and partner of choice.

About the role

RSP is currently accepting applications for the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Director role. The opportunity arises with the current director retiring by rotation.

The Rotary South Pacific DEI Team believes the pilot provides a unique opportunity to strengthen our ongoing commitment to promote an inclusive environment that fosters a sense of belonging and respect, to attract new members who share the same purpose of service above self, and positive, purposeful community impact.

This is a fixed-term, 2-year appointment.
This is an unpaid, volunteer role.

Eligibility
Those expressing interest must be a Rotaractor or Rotary Member within the current Zone 8, in good standing with their Club and able to be appointed as a Director under Australian corporate law (other nationality is not a barrier). The incumbent is eligible for reappointment. Selection criteria for the role are contained within the role description.
