Avenues of Service
We channel our commitment to service at home and abroad through five Avenues of Service, which are the foundation of club, community group and district activity. These avenues are Club Service, Vocational Service, International Service, Community Service and Youth Service.
Rotary's Five Avenues of Service
Club Service
Club service involves the actions and responsibilities that each member should undertake within the club to help ensure its successful operation. By actively participating in club functions and events, members contribute to the overall effectiveness and cohesion of the club, supporting its mission and ongoing activities.

Vocational Service
Vocational Service, on which Rotary was founded, encourages members to use their vocations, education, and skillsets to serve others, thereby promoting high ethical standards within their professional and personal lives as clubs celebrate the various projects and initiatives that highlight the importance of vocational service.

Youth Service
Youth Service recognises and celebrates the positive changes implemented by young people. Our youth leadership development programs, local and international service projects, and exchange programs, enrich communities and promote cultural understanding and world peace as we build the leaders of our future and our now.

Community Service
Community Service is centred on the projects and activities that each club undertakes to address a community need and enhance community life.
Community Service encompasses a wide range of endeavours that members and clubs pursue, either individually or in partnership with others, to elevate the quality of life for residents within the club's own locality or municipality.
Such initiatives reflect Rotary’s commitment to meaningful and sustainable service at the grassroots level.
International Service
International Service is a vital avenue through which members extend their humanitarian efforts across the globe. By working with international partners and undertaking projects in other countries, members actively promote international understanding, goodwill and peace. These collaborative initiatives support communities abroad and foster a spirit of cooperation that transcends borders.
Through active participation in club activities and projects aimed at assisting people in other lands, Rotarians help cultivate mutual respect, international friendship, and a deeper appreciation of global perspectives.
